Chinook Parks Welcome Tents For MRD:
Girl Scout Park (no reservations and there is a sprinkler system so take care in setting up your tent, showers are available at the community pool)

Griffin Park, Contact – Cory 357-2120; water plant supervisor not to make reservations, but to make sure the sprinklers are turned off.
Highway 240 - Quarter Mile South of Chinook
Camper with RV's and tents will have to pay a fee at a private camp ground 2 block from MRD HQ or the fairgrounds 1/2 mile away from MRD HQ. There is simply NO available free camping. If you decide to camp call the campgrounds immediately. It is a popular site and fills up 6 months to a year in advance. Check Accommodation Information below.
The Best Western Great Northern Inn has a block of 20 rooms until May 24th.
The Super 8 has a block of 20 rooms until June 1st.
The AmericInn should have a block of 20 rooms until June 1st.
Monday evening meal (June 24th)--participants will be asked to support local restaurants.
MSU-Northern is offering 1 Undergraduate or Graduate Credit for Workshop Attendance at MRD. Participants wishing to apply will need to register for the credit at the Range Days Registration Desk and pay $150.00. (the Rangeland Management Workshop link below has more information.)

**Permanent Endowment Fund: This fund was established for the support and promotion of Montana Range Days, an annual event held every June. The event attracts in excess of 300 youth and adult participants, with tours and workshops which demonstrate the benefits of good land stewardship. Contributions remain in the Permanent Endowment Fund in perpetuity, and only the interest generated from those donations is used to support Montana Range Days, college scholarships, and financial help to the 4-H and FFA Team representing Montana at the Old West Regional Range Judging Contest.
