There was a 3 way tie for First Place: the tie was broken by knowledge of subject matter: This created a two way tie and it was broken by delivery and language. There were eleven participants and the scores were very close. It was a great competition.

Montana Range Days Information
**Permanent Endowment Fund: This fund was established for the support and promotion of Montana Range Days, an annual event held every June. The event attracts in excess of 300 youth and adult participants, with tours and workshops which demonstrate the benefits of good land stewardship. Contributions remain in the Permanent Endowment Fund in perpetuity, and only the interest generated from those donations is used to support Montana Range Days, college scholarships, and financial help to the 4-H and FFA Team representing Montana at the Old West Regional Range Judging Contest.
