Soil health is a primary goal of the local conservation district. Carter County Conservation District has a JD 1590 No-Till drill available for rent at a reasonable rate. Please call the office at (406)775-6355 ext 101 to schedule use of the drill. The rental agreement must be signed and a $500 deposit made before using the drill. The rate is $12/acre plus $25/day of use.
